ROCKVILLE, MD wrote on 08/23/10 I needed to have a small piano moved. I was able to schedule moving date within two days of my initial request. The 3 man crew came precisely on time. They were well equiped with special devices that facilitated moving piano safely and securely. The men were experienced and very polite.

George, the owner of Germantown Moving, had said during our first meeting “Don't worry. I will take care of everything.” He did not disappoint! When he arrived with his moving trucks and his professional team, George actually did take over. He and his men (mostly family) packed what we had not finished (including lamps and artwork), wrapped every item that could be damaged, and even offered to bring us lunch. They moved all three levels of our five-bedroom house carefully, steadily, and respectfully, even dusting items before transporting them. They delivered large, fragile antiques in perfect condition. After their trucks arrived at our new home, George and his staff unwrapped our belongings as carefully as they had moved them, allowing us to indicate where we wanted each item placed and actually setting down our boxes where our labels indicated they belonged. No request was met with impatience, annoyance, or unwillingness to comply, even at the end of a hot, exhausting day trudging up and down stairs and carrying cumbersome furniture and heavy boxes. And he offered to remove our empty boxes and to loan our son, who was moving the following week, wardrobe boxes free of charge. In addition, we had called Germantown Moving with questions several times during the weeks before our move, and Beverly (in the office) always returned our calls promptly and answered our questions patiently and fully. It is rare to be so completely satisfied with a vendor, and we just had to let you know.
